Completed in September 2022, LACLEARN’s Extortion Study for northern Central America (NCA) provides a holistic examination of extortion trends and impacts within the three countries of NCA: Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador. Through this analysis, the report provides evidence-based recommendations for USAID and other actors to combat extortion via policy and programs.
