Fostering Social Inclusion in Development-Oriented Digital Food System Interventions

This article explores how digital innovations can play a pivotal role in fostering the participation of traditionally marginalized social groups, such as women and resource-poor farmers in low- and middle-income countries, within sustainable and profitable food systems. The authors present a concrete agenda aimed at empowering researchers and other stakeholders in innovation, including donors, to contribute effectively to the creation of more inclusive digital food system innovations in low- and middle-income countries.
