The guide is an example of how Activities can integrate Indigenous People and communities throughout their work. It is informed by the USAID Central Africa Regional Program for the Environment (CARPE) longstanding programming in the region, consultations with Indigenous Peoples and implementing partners, and a review of best practices aligned with the Policy on Promoting the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (PRO-IP).
