This study seeks to address the following questions: (1) What are the most common forms of human trafficking in Botswana, and where in Botswana are they occurring? (2) How do victim vulnerabilities, recruitment patterns, and servitude experiences vary across the main types of human trafficking in Botswana? What are the reasons individuals become vulnerable to trafficking? (3) What are the priority needs of trafficking survivors? What types of programs might help address them? (4) What is the current state of knowledge, attitudes, and practices among key government stakeholders in Botswana?
